How We Tell Your Stories
Because there are so many ways you can tell your stories, we begin by sitting down with you and discussing the possibilities. We agree on the scope of your project, estimate the timing, and tell you the cost and the schedule. We arrange a time to scan your images in your house, so that you need not fear their loss. And we arrange a time to record your memories and stories behind the photographs.
If you want to make a quilt, or pillow, or banner, or other display, we'll look at your materials, and quote you a price and schedule.
Behind the Scenes
After we've collected your scanned images and recorded words, we clean up the images and coordinate them with the recordings in a database. We use an audio program to assemble your words into their best narrative. We assemble the individual images with the audio file in a digital video editing program. And then we create a master DVD with chapters, similar to the DVDs you watch your movies on.
Or we transcribe your recorded words into text, and coordinate it with the images in a publishing program to create the model of the book. From this basic information, we can print as many books as you want.
